This Was Then

In support of the upcoming theatrical release of Zombadings: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington, I wanted to post a photo I had of its main star: Martin Escudero.

Martin’s a really nice guy, and I love how candid he can be during interviews. The last time I saw him, at this year’s Cinemalaya, he was a bit more reserved than he used to be. But I like to think that he’s still the same person I met in the early days of 2007.

In this photo, he’s with then-girlfriend Jennica Garcia. I found their relationship adorable as they really seemed made for each other. But the past has past, and they’re both happier now.

And Martin has found a wonderful way of making a mark in the entertainment industry through Zombadings, which opens in theaters this August 31.
